Join us on Saturday, August 25th for the IAS & Friends 3rd DRINKING AT LUGHNASADH event! We don’t do it every summer, but when we do, it is a BLAST! This is our first time holding it at the fabulous Grace O’Malley’s pub, and we are very excited!
In the ancient Celtic calendar, Lughnasadh (pronounced LOO-nuh-suh) was celebrated with dancing, feasting, & bonfires in July or August each year in honor of Lugh, the god of the sun & light & father of Cuchulainn. Come celebrate with us!
Our own GLASGOW KISS will be providing the live Celtic music from 9:00 pm-1:00 am. Hook them up with tips or beer if you make a tune request!
There should be a big crowd there for the band, so it’s best to be there by 8 if you plan to eat. It’s also a good idea to make a table reservation for your party to guarantee seats. Please make sure you have designated drivers planned in advance.
